My first pet portrait commission, this lovely boy is Blaze. I managed to take the best photo of him to use as reference that captured his great big smile! Acrylic gouache on wooden panel, 30x30cm.

I'm an acrylic painter finally getting started again after a long break while my children were small. Birds and animals are my favourite (currently only, subjects), and despite planning to start small my paintings are rapidly increasing in size as I regain confidence!
