My new favourite painting! Trying to be more adventurous with colour, taking all browns out of the palette and just working with primaries. Definitely planning to keep working in this vein! Acrylic gouache on canvas panel, 40x40cm From my own photograph.

I'm an acrylic painter finally getting started again after a long break while my children were small. Birds and animals are my favourite (currently only, subjects), and despite planning to start small my paintings are rapidly increasing in size as I regain confidence!
