I think there’s a common theme here Caroline, the lapse of time for family, work etc, which many of us experience! Your painting is as Sandra says- fab! He looks very fierce, as he should.

I'm an acrylic painter finally getting started again after a long break while my children were small. Birds and animals are my favourite (currently only, subjects), and despite planning to start small my paintings are rapidly increasing in size as I regain confidence!
