Glad you managed to navigate the new site to post a painting Carol (long over due lol), hope you are keeping well? Lovely lights against darks here and that touch of warmth in the foreground throws back the cool mountains. Great contour work on the mountains too. It's a samsher to say you haven't done anything for a while, keep going before you lose the knack!

Thank you so much for looking Fiona and for such encouraging comments. This painting is actually based on a photo I took in February 1987 (!!!!) when I was still living in Cumbria. Yes I am keeping well thank you. The clarity of the pictures on this new site is outstanding isn't it?
