Carol, I'm sorry to hear you've been unwell, I hope you are on the mend. Only one thing that I can suggest, is a little bit more tonal range from the distant hills to the foreground. The composition is strong, your sky and water are lovely and the blend of different colours in the hills is just right. I'm having the same problem with pastels at the moment Carol! Please don't give up now you've picked up your brushes again! X

Thank you Fiona for such encouraging comments. I note that my original weakness of lack of tonal range has reared its ugly head yet again!! I'm hoping that this is the start of more regular painting but with me you never can tell. Health problems continue but I'll send you an E-mail to explain. Thanks again for looking.
