Hello Carole, I don't know what happened but I had commented on your wonderful painting but it isn't here, so I shall comment again. It is positively superb. The rocks the trees, shrubs and the path is so very well done. Excellent. PS mustn't forget the sea - great.

Jeannette Harrison Wrote: Carole - it is strange that you have just commented on my Golden Fleece, I was just going to comment on your Capri painting here. It really is quite superb. I have been studying it. the rocks the trees everything. So very well done. PS mustn't forget the sea, lovely.

I changed the picture to a new portfolio and lost your comments Jeannette, so I've pasted them here, hope you don't mind. You are very kind and I appreciate your lovely comments,

Hi Jeannette, I wanted to thank you on the nice comments on my Loch Ness and Patrick Stewart paintings also if i may be so bold I think all of your paintings are absolutly lovely. I love the detail you get into them yet they dont appear ridged and over tight, splendid work make sure you keep it up and if you have any spare you know where to send them hehe :-)

I just said hi to jeanette my apologies i ment Carole, please forgive me but hi to jeanette as well infact hi to everyone :-)

Cheers Ian, that is much appreciated. I'm just trying to work out how much to charge and get one sold. By the way, Frank (joke!) us painters are not good communicators when we are in painting mode (just check out mine and everyone elses typos!) so you are forgiven. When I have a "spare" painting it's yours.

Carole, Have you thought anymore about your prices. Don't sell yourself cheap. Definitely no need too. My paintings sell. It was never my intention to sell paintings - I just paint for pleasure. I have had a few commissions that has helped. I have sold in my local exhibitions. I have sold on the internet through zerooneart. (Not on my website yet though!!)

Thanks for the info Jeannette and your kind words. I have just been discussing selling prints with an art dealer. No lay-out, I keep the originals and get 15% of the trade sale price. He's out there touting my paintings as we speak. Wish me luck.

This is tremendous - a real feeling of height - (don't want to suffer from vertigo) - Thanks for your comments on my "Anticipayion" - having a glass of wine was essential to the painting - I made it up from a couple of separate photos - The fat chap was considering his wine - the other was on another photo watching some sport so I thought I'd get them doing the same thing but he didn't have any wine - I poured myself a glass - set my camera up on self-timer - held the glass at the correct angle and "flash" - it's my arm in the painting - couldn't put the wine back in the bottle so had to drink it - well, that's my excuse & I'm sticking to it!!!

Trevor - what an excellent excuse - Thankyou for your comments by the way

Hello Carole, Thank you for your kind comments on my work, with my paintings I try to give it a background, a foreground and a little bit of something in between! Several of my paintings if you look beyond the main image it is just a suggestion although it's not always easy to achieve this! I think the composition of this painting of yours is super, I really feel on the edge, well done. Regards Joe

I see what you mean about your painting, and I know from experience how difficult it is to show a suggestion of something - you have definately mastered that! - Thankyou for your nice thoughts on via krupp

Thank you for your comments on my work, I have been looking at your gallery and love your work especially this one and speedboats, I think your use of colour is superb especially the sea.

Thank you Karen, I never knew but blue seems to be my favourite colour - well - if it's sea that is!

Hi Carole, not sure how i missed this one..I agree with all the comments you have pulled this off very well. The Mediterranean blues as ever very well captured. I like what I see
