Hello Carole, Claudine again. This struggle of yours with stairs, and perspective has been a fascinating experience, even for this side-line observer. Good recovery indeed! I have just rerurned from the UK where I did a small "plein air" w/c of a wrought iron spiral staircase.... If I am foolish enough to tackle the studio version of it, I will be in touch with you in a flash: I know it's going to be tough. Thanks again for your comments on the Stone House. I appreciate constructice responses. I feel we are all a little too too nice to one another sometimes.

Got your message and thank you for the links. Yes this is the one finished. I think it's brilliant. The alteration on the banister works perfectly. I also found the church which is so atmospheric. Don't know why but teh last portfolio of yours I saw had the church on the front but no church inside. Maybe you have two portfolios and I only found one and I couldn't find this anywhere.

Glad you found it Diana and glad you like my finished Casa Goldoni. A limited edition print of this one went for £100 as a charity auction - which was very pleasing. I'm not sure if I do it right but if you search on my name you should find all my portfolios; Venice, stuff, portraits etc and there are paintings inside each one. The cover image of the portfolio only changes if I add a new work to it
