Beautiful painting and so of the moment - what a great year for wildflowers, walking through this must be a tonic and then to have it to look at in the winter too.....just lovely

Wow. A great painting from memory! Lovely.

Lovely painting, really caught my eye in the gallery. why can't all disused railway line look like this. What is the size of the board and is it painted using water colour?

Thanks Norah - yes it is lovely to walk through - and the berries will be out in August - Can't wait

Hi Suzanne. It's acrylic on 360 gsm paper. Size is A3. Thanks for liking it!

Welcome back Carole, this is really good. I hope you are feelng better for a bit of colour therapy. Your gallery is showing a wide range of subjects, I suspect like me you just paint anything which catches your eye. Do you find you are looking at everything in terms of how it could be painted? I'm especially impressed you did this from memory.

Wow this is impressive from memory and big too. You must have a terrific knowledge of wildflowers, their shapes and their leaves. The differences in leaf shapes is impressive. Only slight comment woudl be that the grass and leaves on et left side of the path are a bit too regular but everything else is smashing.

So glad you're feeling well enough to start painting again, and what a painting!! Beautifully done and from memory as well! Expecting one of the berries in August. LOL

Hi Carole what a magnificently beautiful painting I feel I'm walking that track with you...it's one of the things I miss about England is the wild flowers...my snowdrops are on the way up I havn't a clue how they got into my garden but they are there and I love them...they are a little taller here in Australia but snowdrops none the less...I loved the wild berries as a child ate them straight of the vine goodness knows what was in them but we didn't care...I am now on the road to recovery and managed to clean my house today...have to keep moving with pneumonia...I'm still taking antibiotics but what ever it takes thank you for asking...so glad you are feeling better...you have a beautiful gallery...I will visit your site when time allows it looks lovely and I love the autumn leaves

There is an old railway track near where I live and it is abundant with wild flowers. I'm walking it most days to get the lungs going again. This painting was done from memory, after todays walk.
