You managed to capture the sun reflecting on the sea and the street. I really like it. Well done for the shadows!

Carole this is a very lovely painting. There's lots of detail included in the picture. Lovely rocks in the background they look real. I like the foreground with the activity going on. Good perspective. I'm not so sure but perhaps the ship entering the yacht marina lacks shadow. Otherwise I really like it.

Cheers Lorraine for your lovely comments. Re the large yacht I'm being true to the photo, so only shadow underneath the bottom - I suppose the sun is shinning right at it - I do see what you mean tho

Carole, An excellent painting, a lot going on and it really works. I can see what Lorraine means. As the shadows are all on the left, I would shadow the ship/boat on the left side and give a little more white wave as it is going through the water just to make it sit better. Otherwise this is smashing painting the sea and the rocks are just great. Well done.
