Carole, If it makes you feel any better. I am having a bad day paint wise. I have torn one up - I am messing about with acrylic ink. I think I will give up!!

Hi Carol, Thanks for your kind comment. I wish I painted looser, but its difficult training the brain! I find it makes it alot easier painting on location, as nature forces you to work quick. Like this painting of yours too! Difficult to paint....All the best Karl

This is a lovely picturesque painting. It is so incredibly realistic. (I thought it was a photograph at first) I’m extremely envious of your ability. I tried to paint a waterscape once and it turned out awful. Water must be one of the toughest subjects to paint, but you have mastered it perfectly. Fantastic work.

Thanks Karl this was my second attempt and Jeannette (above) kindly gave me some advice on the sea, which we think improved the outcome.

Thank you Lauren that is a compliment indeed. I did work hard to get the rocks and perspective, and as mentioned above the sea got better once Jeannette gave me some tips on the sea!

Hi Carole, Geez...........that's blue water mate. Reminds me of Wales....er....not. I love that transparent portion at the bottom too. It works well i think. Ta for ya comment on my Holy man pic by the way. Keep creating.
