i think this is superb...and is making me hungry

Oh and P.S....re: your comment on my little xmas card, i'm sure there are a trillion ways of painting snow.....if you want my 2p's worth i would say use plenty of white in your mixes but avoid using pure white except for the finishing touch highlights. Like water snow usually reflects the sky colour to some degree especially the snow shadows. However nothing is ever a set rule in painting and in one of my other galleries i have a snowy postcard painting where i have used pure white over blue under painting for the snow.....haha how useless at advice am I

Steve you are making me laugh - will check your other postcard later. Thanks for liking my pizza - I may have to have one for me tea now!

This pizza is really good and the pastry seems crusty. Well done Carole, A very unusual subject!

Thanks Lorraine - I know it's a strange subject, don't really know what came over me! but I'm definately having one for me dinner after looking at it again.

Hope you enjoyed your dinner! Unusual subject well painted I'm sure your local Italian bar will love it.

Hello Carole, I think the saying is ' it's not what you paint but how you paint it' You have certainly painted this really well. Regards, Joe. Thank you for kind comments.

Hi Joe - thank you for this comment - I quite like my basil!!!

Yes, your basil is great, but the whole pizza is!!! You are right, my best art didn't take a brush! only years of hard labor...LOL.

Thanks again Nora - :)

Thank you for your lovely comments Carole! This is a real fun piece! Love the subject matter and the colours.

Cheers Micheline - it was fun to do!

I'm waiting on a local Italian bar/restaurant who may wish to display my paintings. It made me think about pizza - so I painted one - maybe they will want this painting too!
