I really like your paintings Carole and can remember all these things from my childhood as I was born in the North West. We are all aware of Lowry but are you familiar with the work of Fred Wilde and Helen Bradley? Their paintings tell stories of what life was like in times gone by.

How right you are, Carole, and nothing changes when it comes to the gossips :) I used to push my younger brother about in a pram like that and hide my sweets in the space under the panel he rested on, Happy Days.
