I used to push a barrow full of rags to the rag and bone merchant. Valuable pocket money because I got none. lol There is a wonderful innocence about all your work Carole.

The rag and bone man was a regular visitor to our street, and caused a great deal of excitement for us children. Painting this from memory was fun as I remembered the characters that lived on our street, some poorer than others.
