The Wintry North Sea

Really like this, Carole - so moody, and love the colours.

WOW. What a brilliant effect. Great colour choice too.

Looks even better on a bigger screen!

Are you saying that it’s painted on blotting paper Carole? Or that BP was used to achieve the effects... I do like this enormously, always great to experiment.

Love it. Very imaginative.

Very atmospheric, Carole. Like the palette.

The darks are amazing and the gold makes it magical.

Thank you for your very generous comments and support Margaret, Carolyn, Lewis, Thalia, Jenny & John. In answer to your question Alan:- I use blotting paper as a masking aid, to mop up excess water and for lightening areas.

A successful experiment Carole, full of drama and atmosphere.

Fabulous painting Carole.

Thank you for your kind comments Caroline and Fiona. Always appreciated.

Clever dark and light and colour Carole. I love it.

Really speaks to the emotions Carole
