A big thank you to all you lovely artists for commenting on my work, Anne, Russell, Rachel, Shaun, Coral, Heather, Christine, Karen and Peter. I have stated erroneously that the painting was done one pastelmat. It was painted on black paper. I paint clear gesso over the paper and this allows the colours to achieve a much richer hue and glide over the paper with so much more ease.

Thank you so much David, Elaine, Cecelia and Tessa. The clear gesso works well on almost all papers Tessa.Watercolour paper is especially effective after a layer of clear gesso. Thank you also to Thalia and Ross.
