A few years ago, I accompanied our pastor and a group of primary school pupils on a trip to Erfurt and Eisenach (Martin Luther spent two years at Wartburg Castle there). Among other things, we visited the pastor's father-in-law, who served the children delicious vegetable soup. He was so friendly that I immediately took him to my heart. He was also ready for a snapshot, which is the basis for my watercolour. Hahnemühle sketchbook, ca. 22 x 15 cm
