I like the painting greatly , Bruce, at first thoughts I took it to be a New Zealand scene especially with the fence posts rather than hedges. I like the depth and strength of the colours used - a "gutsy" painting and , no , I wouldn't change the tone of the distant hills, cheers Mike C.
