An older picture based on a newspaper article showing a father grieving the loss of his son in a bombing. While the colours have faded a little over time I still think it's one of my favourite pictures from that period. I drew it on thin newsprint paper using kids wax crayons, hence the reason for the fading. I drew one layer at a time and heated it in front of a gas fire to melt the wax into the paper before applying the next layer.
