Judicious cutting around white and light shapes, supplemented with body colour highlights on the figures to capture this contra jour view. Infusions of warmed earth colours, counterpointed by complimentary blues and violets, help the day. Foareground figures add perspective & depth but are dashed in with quick, thick stokes to fuse & break their edges and avoid intrusion..
