Preparing-for a Night's Fishing

Many thanks, Karyl. Glad you liked it. There were a group of four. I sketched these two but have a photo of all of them that I may work up some time. At the moment I am working on three portraits so urban and harbour scenes are on the back burner until the spring. The next ones will be beach or country scenes featuring figures. I have a swatch of sketches to work from once the portraits are out of the way.

Great composition; interesting subject. I wonder what they are discussing.

I'll lay a Euro to a pinch of salt it wasn't fishing. More likely Barca (Barcelona FC), Real Madrid or the appalling drop in form of the local La Liga team - Malaga.
