Watercolour sketch approx 10x7 inches. This is one of the oldest surviving churches in England, dating back to around 660. It's quite near where I live and it has always felt a remote and isolated location to me. In winter it feels even more remote, just standing in the middle of nowhere on the edge of the grey sea.
