Thank you all for your kind comments. I know what you mean, Heather. Most of our portrait models sit for 4 hours (plus 2 coffee and 1 lunch break) so I'm not surprised they look focused and a bit stern! We are incredibly lucky to have them, though - and I have learned a lot from having different faces to paint. Next Friday is the last life and portrait session before we revert to plein air landscape painting for the summer.
