2 colour pastel pencil sketch on brown mount board. I'd intended to paint the portrait model last week at the Ludlow Friday Group - but I was late and didn't want to disturb the other artists, so I ended up in the smaller life drawing group at the other end of the room. I focused on Alan's head and upper torso for this quick 15 minute pose.
