Sandside - Watercolour

I really like the simplicity of this painting and the colours used - very atmospheric. I also enjoyed your Stone Circle.

Hallo Bill, yes it does! I've looked back at what I said on your moonlight painting, and am ashamed to see I dwelt on the negative (as I saw it) and managed to overlook the positive altogether: I must have started on my pre-dinner snifter, and you know what that can do to intellectual faculties... I like this, and the way you've used the structure of the paper to work with the paint.

Yes I do remember the satisfaction of getting the dry brush "relief" effect on the sandbanks as I was in the course of my painting. Thanks again.

This one is my favourite. It's lovely! Very atmospheric and good colour and dry brush work. Also it isn't overworked. Very nice.
