I prefer this one, Bill. The lighter sunny sky lets the wall come forwards and so there is more depth in your beautiful painting.

That didn't take you long! Infact your sky is good but I think I know what you think ! It's a nice painting but doesn't have the same impact as the first one. It's very interesting to compare them and thanks for letting us see them both. My vote goes to number one ! The colours glow on that one whereas here they don't. I must say though that you have some super work in you gallery. Louise

I do appreciate your comments, Mia and Louise, yet again. Having had another good look at your portfolios I must compliment both of you for the professional work that you produce, but in such contrasting ways. I am always impressed with work that I feel I could not do, myself, and feel more confident on my own familiar ground, although I do have rushes of inspiration from time to time that inevitably produce nothing. As such I therefore do value your comments. I find the work of each of you inspiring. Bill.

You pursuaded me to submit this one, Louise. Don't hesitate to be honest here (I know what I think about it) After all. it's only a piece of paper we're talking about ! It's strange how walls change their shape and buildings move, to say nothing of the trees, bushes and reeds, when a second version comes along. Bill.
