Very pleasing, calming composition - and I like the foreground textures. Would that be a weeping willow to the left of the bridge? The tree I hate to paint - and hardly ever do, if I can avoid it. Very difficult to avoid it looking like a large bunch of stinging-nettles, but I think you've managed it.

Love this - technically very good (looks like an oil painting).

Stopped here for a picnic lunch whilst enjoying a cycle ride on a perfect summer's day. I have attempted to capture the heady combination of heat, beauty and lazy calm of this perfect height-of-summer day. Acrylic on 18" x 14" canvasboard.
