Lovely to return to a scene with fond memories Barry lovely piece made your own there is nothing totally original in painting it's a learning process

Went on a day workshop with Steve Hall at Wylye about five years ago and this scene was one of his demos. I have reproduced my effort from the day but the credit goes to Steve as at that time I was at a stage where I was learning by copying the expert. I returned to the spot last year only to find the large tree had been blown down. On Bockingford half imperial extra rough.
