Terrific Barry. Is that paper so rough it makes it look like you’ve used salt in the sky,it has caused a lot of granulation .

Thank you Maureen, Stevan, Brian and Heather, to your question Brian the paper has a very pronounced texture and this has resulted in the granulation, I haven’t used any salt.

Good to try something new Barry, great texture.

Great light in the distance, I know what you mean about the foreground on extra rough, but this doesn't look as if you struggled! it's working very well!

Another experiment using Schut Flamboyant extra rough watercolour paper. Early washes worked well but the foreground was hard work.
