Another lovely loose watercolour, Barry.

Beautiful painting, Barry, confident and loose. This approach works so well and just FEELS right. The three colours in the foreground stand out very nicely, creating an interesting triangular focal point. Brian

Thank you Seth and Brian. I agree on your analysis Brian but it wasn’t until the last few brush strokes that it was revealed so it was a bit of a leap faith for a while hoping it would all come together.

West Country’s finest out on the town. Must have been a great day. Great painting by the way.

Thanks Brian, yes it’s always good to get out with a group of like minded artists although we did have a few missing this time.

Good work once again Barry. I find the shadow on the left foreground a bit distracting though.

Stunning work as always Barry. Love the white paper showing, really sparkles.

Thank you Maureen, Stephen and Carole, the joys of Plein Air painting some things work and some don’t but it’s always a true reflection of you view and feelings about the place.

A lovely free feel to this painting Barry, like it and your choice of colours.

Super plein air piece Barry.

Thank you Rachel and Alan, should be a few more as our group has a few more outings planned, I think Laycock is our next venue.

Loose is beautiful, Barry.

I agree thank you Cesare.

A great plain air painting Barry. I've just watched Tim's video. A busy and noisy place indeed. I'm not used to the hustle and bustle anymore living in my corner of the world. I was with one of your missing flock the last 2 days (Jem). We had a great time in Sidmouth.

Thank you Pete, Tim was braver than me and tackled a painting in the rain. We missed not having Jem with us, our loss but your gain as it sounds as if you had a great time with him.

Out with our group today painting Plein Air in Malmesbury, as the weather was unsettled I set up under the Market Cross and painted the scene up the street. For any that know Tim Wilmot’s work he is in the group and has posted a recording of his paintings on his site.
