Painted from a sketch and several photos and one of a series of painting I have done following a visit to an exhibition by Pete Brown which has inspired me to paint subjects around the city of Bath. I normally paint in watercolour and shy away from paintings buildings which means I am exploring new ground and enjoying every moment so far. Although I can see lots of faults I feel I have captured the essence of the scene and I am sure I can improve as I become more familiar with the medium.
