Lovely detailing. Reminds me of lithographs, but with the contemporary figures and splashes of red. Really like how the cloud formations frame the buildings and draw the eye in.

There is something very peaceful about this sign. The post box catches the eye but somehow doesn't steal the attention.

Superb drawing Bari , you handle pens and pencil’s really well and produce excellent results.

I agree with Tony. The eye wants to explore more after seeing the postbox. I wonder if the station and post office are still there...

Thanks for all the nice comments Great Sankey was the last true village in England. Definition of a village is , a cross road with police station, church, post office and tavern on each corner. We have lost the police station and the post office.
