This is a beautiful painting so subtle with hidden depths, very different, love it Suzanne

I am guessing here but wet in wet chosen colours then ink work to shapes. Smashing piece. A year ago I wouldn't have viewed this.

Stunning, much impressive painting.

This is lovely, Barbara, very delicate. What paper have you used?

The paper I used was Fabriano hot pressed 600gsm. with a coat of gesso which helps if you want to change areas....you can just wipe the watercolour off.The background was done with "cobwebbing"...using Daniel Smith watercolours......I then look for shapes that I can become flowers or whatever your subject is...the flower shapes are done with a brush and watercolour paint. Thanks so much for your comments on Hidden Garden.Barb Morris

Beautiful so delicate

Thanks for the info. Barbara. I've recently discovered the benefits of watercolour on gesso, but haven't tried cobwebbing, must give it a go!
