Lovely contrast of the surrounding hills and colourful flower farm of these old farmsteads in the Cape Province! These places do inspire as historical preface and it's amazing how atmospheric they are too! Lovely composition David!

A watercolour I painted this afternoon of an old flower farm located on the Cape Flats just east of the city of Cape Town in South Africa, In this area there are a lot of old farmsteads which date back to the time of the early European settlers.
