Super colouring Sandra. Good sense of depth as well. Sorry I do not know Saraya, so cannot compare.

So of course I had to google Soraya French - your use of colours are very similar Sandra, kind of bold yet subdued, if that doesn't seem contradictory.

Sandra found her work. Beautiful, inspiration for and encouragement to loosen up. I will have a go at something like that but I an into other work at the moment. Happy painting. Doing art is Heaven. In fact the name on my apartment door reads 11 is Heaven. The only draw back is my dog does not like me doing art all the time. LOL.

I agree with John that doing art is certainly very rewarding (if frustrating at times). I can understand your dog's preference for his pack leader not doing something that doesn't involve him!

I became hooked on painting when I joined an evening class on painting "Abstracts in Acrylic" some years ago. Now retired, I was painting fairly regularly until the last couple of years when I've had a "creative drought". This year I'm getting back into painting, concentrating on abstract.
