Lesley, Alan, Margaret, thank-you very much for looking and commenting. Alan, I am experimenting with this idea but some just don't work out! Margaret, the blue was mixes of dark and light turquoise, with a mix of light turq and white dry brushed in places.

Thank-you very much Tessa. The crinkles are soft gloss gel. Those in the water are deliberate, the others were formed by the previous failed painting, which has been painted over.

I became hooked on painting when I joined an evening class on painting "Abstracts in Acrylic" some years ago. Now retired, I was painting fairly regularly until the last couple of years when I've had a "creative drought". This year I intend to work on mainly abstract landscapes.
