Love the style Sandra, a cheerful painting.

You're right about POL being full of inspiration. It is great to see so many different clever pictures. This is a happy picture.

Carole and Shirley thank-you very much for your kind comments. I really appreciate that people take the time to look, and comment.

Well it's cheered me up Sandra! A delight.

Gosh - I thought you were as muddled as I am about which season we are now in. Awful day outside here but a lovely cheerful painting here - so thank you for cheering my day up Sandra. ☺

Fiona and Adele, thank-you for your lovely comments. I'm afraid it is still winter here Adele, sorry to hear about your awful weather. Hope it improves soon.

Adele, I now realise that when I re-did my bio at some stage I omitted to say where I live. I'm actually in New Zealand (Christchurch), so can now understand why it looked like I was muddled about which season we're in. The time zone is quite different too, so it probably seems a bit strange when I comment that someone's painting is a great way to start my day, and the time stamp shows U.K. time, which is of course the previous evening.

And it is a beauty Sandra, I love the design elements.

Ah - all is now clear Sandra. I'm envious that you will be enjoying Spring and Summer whereas our Summer or where I am is fairly awful!

Thank-you very much Alan.

What a lovely bright and colourful image Sandra

Thank-you Carolyn for your positive comment.

Thank-you very much Dennis, I am glad that you like it.

Good piece of work.

Thank-you Janet, I'm glad you like it.

Acrylic on canvas. After a cold and exceptionally wet winter I wanted a happy spring painting to cheer myself up!

About the Artist
Sandra Kennedy

I became hooked on painting when I joined an evening class on painting "Abstracts in Acrylic" some years ago. Now retired, I was painting fairly regularly until the last couple of years when I've had a "creative drought". This year I'm getting back into painting, concentrating on abstract.
