This is a makeover. It started out as a lavender field in the foreground and looked very boring. I've beefed up the colours, not so much lavender now, less accurate but hopefully less boring! A friend gave me the title, the road leads to a couple of very small buildings in the background.

I became hooked on painting when I joined an evening class on painting "Abstracts in Acrylic" some years ago. Now retired, I was painting fairly regularly until the last couple of years when I've had a "creative drought". This year I'm getting back into painting, concentrating on abstract.
