Not a painting of course. I intend to try to do an Xmas painting after a very uncreative year, but after hearing the latest news on our TV I want to send you something to say I am thinking of you all. I know that Christmas this year will be very hard, I wish it could be otherwise. Every finger crossed for 2021 and the vaccines, I do hope that there will be light at the end of the tunnel. I still intend to try to get a painting done before Christmas so that I can add my best wishes to those wonderful artists who have posted Xmas paintings.

Very thoughtful, I hope you have a peaceful Xmas. It's a certainty 2021 will improve with the help of the vaccine my dear. Pick up your brushes and create something wonderful.

Thank-you Maureen. Christmas here (N.Z.) will be very much more like normal, I really don't think everyone realises just how fortunate we are. People have become very slack about scanning the Covid tracer app, hand sanitising etc.

I became hooked on painting when I joined an evening class on painting "Abstracts in Acrylic" some years ago. Now retired, I was painting fairly regularly until the last couple of years when I've had a "creative drought". This year I'm getting back into painting, concentrating on abstract.
