Definitely does Sandra, the colours are there and you have great textures.

Agree with Carole, keep going Sandra, paint in the way you like to use it, big brushes, or palette knife, or mixing the paint with other paint material.

Thank-you very much, Carole and John, for your encouraging comments. I was going through my storage cupboard to find some canvases to recycle, but ended up deciding to work on the ones I don't want to delete altogether.

It's lovely Sandra, your beautiful colours definitely suggest the ocean 😀

Alive with jewels of colour Sandra a beauty

It certainly tells me underwater, perhaps corals and bubbles floating up to the surface. It's good to be critical about your work but it's also good to post it on here and let others judge it. I think it's great.

Under the sea it is Sandra, such beautiful colours, they almost look pearlescent.

The first thing that came into my head was looking down into a rock pool Sandra. It has that beautiful aqua/azure blue/green that the clear water in rock pools has. The texture also adds to the illusion. Well revived Sandra.

Thank-you all very much for your kind comments. Lovely wet day today so it will be a painting day as am reviving another couple.

I like it Sandra..job well done :)

Thank-you very much Louise.

Beautiful colours and textures, Sandra......really transports one to an undersea world!

Thank-you Chandra for your lovely comment.

It suggests underwater to me too Sandra. Your work is all very colourful.

Thank-you very much indeed Dorothy.

For me, it is the texture and I love it😊

Thank-you David for your kind comment.

I would say you have revived it very nicely. Beautiful

Thank-you very much Dorothy for your lovely comment.

Acrylic on canvas 20 x 10 inches. I am re-working some abstracts I did a few years ago. Not satisfied with them but not bad enough to be dumped. Trying to make them better or at least less worse. Unhappy that I seem to have lost the knack with abstract, rather hoping this re-working might revive it. This one suggests underwater to me.

About the Artist
Sandra Kennedy

I became hooked on painting when I joined an evening class on painting "Abstracts in Acrylic" some years ago. Now retired, I was painting fairly regularly until the last couple of years when I've had a "creative drought". This year I'm getting back into painting, concentrating on abstract.
