Abstract field by Sandra Kennedy

Trying semi-abstract landscapes instead of completely abstract. Not exactly the result I wanted, will have to keep at it.

I absolutely agree with Frank and Heather Sandra. You have a really very good sense of balance in the colours used in this piece. The dark green at the bottom binds the whole piece together.

Frank, Heather, John, thank-you very much for your positive comments, which I appreciate, especially as I am not entirely sure yet about this style.

Sandra it’s one of the few abstracts that I look at as normally I don’t find then interesting , simply because I don’t understand them. This abstract , semi abstract is attractive because it’s easier to understand and painted really well, it got all the elements of a good landscape, be pleased with the results and do more in a similar style. Lots of beautiful scenes in New Zealand.

Very well painted Sandra, could be the start of a whole new era for you. My son in Oz has just returned from New Zealand and I have a lot of great photos of his of New Zealand to work on, hope I can do it justice.
