Anne, this is an amazing drawing but I wish I was talking directly to the artist who drew it. I am not really understanding what all these postings are about as, correct me if I am wrong, but it seems to be an Association posting their artist's paintings. Couldn't you suggest to the actual artists that they join this site and post their work themselves so that when people comment they themselves can reply and answer questions about their work. I haven't come across this third party way of posting on POL gallery to date.

The artists are about to start joining up here and will be delighted with the comments on their work.

That is lovely to hear as you have posted some wonderful works from some really accomplished artists and I know that many people would love to add their comments and interact with them. Animal portraits also go down a storm usually on POL gallery too!!

Thank you for your comment Thea - this is the drawing that appears in the Summer issue of Leisure Painter - so exciting to get my work in there!! Anne is the Chairman and fellow trustee of the Association of Animal Artists and does a fantastic job of promoting the group and its artists whenever she can. Most of us wouldn't have thought of posting our work here - but I'm sure we will from now :-)

Great work Sue I love it.

I love this work too, and am so pleased to find it here after seeing it in the magazine this month. Are you by any chance a Fylde based group....I may have got this wrong....?

Hi Ruth, Thank you for your comments. :-) The Trustees of Association of Animal Artists are North West based but our members come from all over the UK and we also have a member who lives in the States. With our workshops etc taking place in the North West it's advantageous if you live round that area, but again, some of our members do travel to take part. If you would like to join our group, or would just like more information about us, please visit our website for more details. http://www.associationanimalartists.co.uk
