A lovely portrait. Your skills have definitely born the test of time!

Your Auntie looks like a fun person and I particularly like how you have painted her brooch and beads, especially in the difficult medium of watercolour Anne.

A very nice oldie, you should do more portraits Anne

Beautiful portrait, Anne!

Many thanks for your lovely comments, David, Carole, Heather and Manoj! ( yes Carole she was a fun person!)

Such a good and sensitive portrait Anne, I can imagine you smiled all the way through painting it. I love her hair and the sparkle in her eyes…..not to mention the bone structure to die for!

Lovely to have this memory, so sensitively done. You were clearly very fond of Mary - I've been digging out some of my old paintings and drawings, too - you can see the flaws and mistakes you wouldn't make now, but at the same time can so often also see that technical advance isn't everything.

A lovely portrait painting done so beautifully.

Very good and detailed portrait

Super vintage look to this lovely portrait Anne.

Thank you so much, Fiona, Robert, Paul, Sylvia and Katy for your very nice comments!

Very nice portrait indeed, love the vintage look.

Thank you very much, Romila!

An "oldie" done in pencil and watercolour from an old photograph. I liked the vintage look of her dress and hairstyle. Happy memories of seaside holidays with auntie.
