Beautiful - I like it very much. Wish I could paint poppies like you , they're so difficult to really do them justice!

Its a good year for poppies I'm told ... our fields and hedgerows are full of them in Kent at the moment. Love your painting - it captures their vibrant beauty perfectly

This painting is on a 30"x30" stretched canvas, and is typical of my loose, spontaneous style. The mixed media is acrylic, oil bar and acrylic ink, all of which I regularly use whether the painting is to be a landscape, floral or still life.
