Nothing at all wrong with this Ann. I like the way the dark rocks break up the beach shoreline. It's a really fine effort.

Lovely loose watercolour Ann and don’t worry about the sky it looks fine. I often make mistakes in watercolour it comes with the territory and yes it does get a little better with practice.

Thank you all for your most welcome comments. It does help to hear other people’s thoughts . Carole, Mom came from North Shields so we spent many holidays around Whitley Bay , Cullercoats and Tynemouth . I still go but sadly no relatives there now.
