Queen of the Forest

Now - this sends the shivers up me more than your other painting did. Why, I don't know..... a certain chilliness in the vision, perhaps: we mustn't confuse physical attraction (not that, frankly, this would much appeal in my case) with approachability - I should not be happy to look up into the tree canopy and then see this. I should retreat from the wood and seek the comfort of the nearest brick or stone structure. Sorry to have shared my neuroses with you. It's a very splendid painting.

I particularly like the mossy hair in this one Ann.

Another beautiful painting, the queens eyes are superb. Again all the beautifully painted small details are what makes it so good . Stunning in a single word.

Very creative and detailed.

Amazing work. I don't see it as Robert does, quite the opposite in fact. Technically perfect too

Stunning work Ann. I love the connection to nature and our place in it over the centuries. Everything here for a feast!

Really beautiful work, like both. Yes there is an eeriness about the green man and the lady, but I find them fascinating Ann.

Absolutely stunning - the quality of work is amazing
