How wonderful to see this painting, Anne. I used to watch the team exercising outside Chorley, some years ago now. Courageous animals and so gentle towards the public. Beautiful work. Will it be on view at the Salmesbury Ex? I must look AAA up again on the net. I am a Lancastrian born and bred, now living in Wales.

I don't know why I ended up painting so big...I was just inspired to do some of my work at this sort of size and I am working on a commission now of an incident between a surgeon in a canoe and a crocodile in the Okavango Delta. Now that is another challenge...lots of water and a crocodile to paint and very little reference! Some of my watercolours are quite small and delicate in comparison...!
