If it's a decent paper it should stand rough treatment Ann, and this has stood up to it superbly, a great atmospheric painting.

Wow, thanks for that, Alan! And to think it nearly ended up in the bin........hence the rough treatment to get it to behave! I won't be so afraid to show it who's boss in the future then.

I love the sky Ann and the granulations of the washes, it's a beauty. I use Jackson rough paper for my pen & wash paintings, it stands up to alsorts of scratchings.

Thankyou very much, Fiona. I hadn't used Jackson's paper before, and because it wouldn't go right, I really scrubbed it hard, yet it still took the washes afterwards without minding at all. Very impressive! So it's nice to hear you confirm it does the same for you. Good stuff!
