You'd be a bit stuck for your tree paintings, Charles - few and far between, and pretty stunted!

Home sweet home - no neighbours, I hope? An isolated spot in which I could play very loud Bruckner to my heart's content.....

Oooh Ann, I have a confession to make: everytime life is a bit difficult to me, I imagine that I am living in a cottage like the ones you paint: far away from everything and everyone. I even have a little picture of such a cottage on my wall and just looking at it gives me peace and tranquility. Well done, let me dream and give us more of those!!!

How lucky you are! Magical cottage.

The stonework is beautifully wrought. It's a really lovely cottage.

Thank you all for your comments!

Super cottage and you have recorded it for posterity now with your lovely painting.

So where is your updated painting of what it looks like one in it's refurbished state Ann ?

This is especially for Robert! One that escaped its fate. We bought is 25 years ago and renovated it over 10 years (holidays?). We have now lived in it for 15 years - though it looks a bit different now. (By the way this is NOT snow - just a very frosty December evening - about 3 pm!)
