Another Italian one

Lovely job, Ann. I do like your cypress trees. I am struggling with a painting of a French abbey at the moment which has two such trees - what a nightmare! You don't look as if you had any bother doing these ones at all - how do you do it|

Thank you for that, Thea, and Happy Easter! As to cypress trees (and the basis of all greens for me) Paynes Gray and Lemon Yellow! - and then smallish brush almost parallel to paper! I just love the shape and colour of cypress trees - not that they grow like that up here - more yellowish brown and leaning at a mad angle!!

I agree with Thea Ann, your tree's are great!! I also like the light and shadows on the buildings you can feel the warmth coming from them.
