I'm having a similar problem, finding time - so easy to say you'll take half an hour or more in the day, but you need a lot more time than that, for setting up, getting in the mood, relaxing the painting hand.... So frustrating. But you can find in these earlier paintings the genesis of your later ones, so they're well worth seeing.

There you go again - mastering greens. Can you hear my knashing teeth!! Lovely gentle and harmonious Highland scene - great light and a real sense of the landscape in this region.
